CBD (or Cannabidiol) is one of over 100 active compounds found in the cannabis plant and is known for its interaction with the Endocannabinoid System when ingested.
The Endocannabinoid System (ECS) helps the body maintain homeostasis, or balance, by communicating with and supporting other biological systems in the body.
The ECS regulates and balances a variety of responses in the body: stress, appetite, sensation, mood, energy, metabolism, skin function and more.
The Skin contains cannabinoid receptors, cannabinoid synthesis and degradation enzymes that certain studies suggest can affect functions in various parts of the skin, including: Epidermis – skin barrier/protection, health, and appearance; Sensory Nerves -sensation; Immune Cells –immune response; Sebaceous Glands – Sebum production; Hair Follicles – Hair loss/ growth/ maintenance; Sweat Glands – sweat production.

Drug tests vary as to what compounds are being analyzed, so we are unable to make any claims or guarantees regarding use of our products and drug tests.
We use “whole plant” hemp-derived CBD extract in our products. A “whole plant formula” refers to a “full spectrum” or “broad spectrum” hemp extract that in addition to CBD also contains many of the plant’s original compounds including phytocannabinoids, plant oils and terpenes. Our “whole plant formulas” are derived from select hemp cultivated in the USA.
Our Lord Jones best-in-class hemp-derived CBD product assortment features both “full spectrum” and “broad spectrum” whole plant formulas for consumers to enjoy. *Broad Spectrum is a whole plant formulation that contains hemp-derived CBD extract as well as the plant’s original phytocannabinoids, terpenes and oils. The hemp plant material used to create a broad-spectrum extract undergoes an additional purification process to remove as much THC as possible.
*Full Spectrum is a whole plant formulation that contains hemp-derived CBD extract as well as the plant’s original phytocannabinoids, terpenes, and oils. A full spectrum extract and final formula contains less than 0.3% THC.
Hemp Extract is derived from the flowers, leaves and buds. Hemp Seed Oil requires pressing hemp seeds only to extract the oil and contains no cannabinoids.
Testing and Quality
Lord Jones products undergo extensive third-party testing throughout the manufacturing process to ensure that each product is tested for heavy metals, microbiological contaminants, residual solvents and pesticides.
Lord Jones products feature whole plant formulas derived from carefully selected hemp cultivated in the USA.
Lord Jones finished goods are tested and traceable on our site through a lab batch code. For lab information on our supplements, please request via info@lordjones.com.
You can view finished goods test results on our website here. Enter the lot code for the product (found imprinted on the bottle/jar or on the label), click on Find Results, click on the Batch Name then click on “Download the Report” for a PDF version of the results.
Note regarding Lot Codes – please enter the Lot Code exactly as it is printed on the product, including any dashes. For Royal Oil, enter the first six digits of the lot code, followed by the letters RO. For examples see “Where to Find the Batch Code” on the Lord Jones Testing Reports page.

Lord Jones skincare products are formulated without:

- Lord Jones Gumdrops and the shells of our Gel Capsules contain animal-based gelatin.
- Lord Jones Dark Chocolate Espresso Chews contain chocolate that may include trace amounts of dairy.
A tincture is a liquid extract that is taken orally. It can also be used as a booster in beverages.
Check your product packaging for the expiration date. The gumdrops and chews may begin to harden over time. This is a natural process that occurs when sugar is exposed to air. For this reason, we recommend the gumdrops be kept in airtight containers or sealed plastic bags.
All products should be stored at room temperature (not higher than 75 degrees Fahrenheit). Gumdrops are best kept in an airtight container or sealed plastic bag.
We strive to make a range of products available to people with dietary restrictions. Please check the product pages for product-specific information on allergens. Tinctures are formulated without added sugar.

Proposition 65 is a regulation in the state of California that requires businesses to inform Californians about exposures to certain substances and chemicals.
Proposition 65 requires that any product sold in California that may contain THC (even trace amounts) has a warning label displayed. Since our hemp-derived CBD products may contain trace amounts of THC (not exceeding 0.3%), we are required to display the Proposition 65 warning label on our packaging, website and in stores. Ordering and Shipping -CBD
We ship our products to many states in the USA. We do not ship internationally at this time.

Free Standard Shipping orders typically take 1-10 business days depending on your location. Standard Shipping orders are processed within 48-72 hours of receipt, Monday through Friday. Orders received after 2 pm on Friday and on weekends will be processed the following Monday. Please see Shipping Policy for details.
Yes, we offer 1-day and 2-day express shipping via Federal Express. Please see Shipping Policy for details.
Lord Jones offers Free Standard Shipping on all of our products.
Free Standard Shipping is offered via USPS, FedEx and/or UPS and takes 1-10 business days, depending on location and product mix.
Please see Shipping Policy for details. Express shipping options are available via FedEx (2 business day and overnight). Express shipping charges are based on your location and will be calculated and presented during the checkout process.
Orders under $300 that contain products other than gumdrops and chews may be delivered to a PO Box. Orders containing gumdrops and chews must be shipped to a physical address. For orders over $300, we require a signature for delivery, so a physical address where someone will be available to receive and sign for the package is required.
We have found that often USPS does not scan packages at the point of origin, so the online tracking shows not shipped even if the package was shipped. If you have a concern about your order, email us at info@lordjones.com and we will confirm date of shipment.
